The alpha does not require a Kilomarty account or sync its register to a Kilomarty server. Vehicle details, odometer readings, trips, categories and corrections are kept within the app on your device.

Privacy and data
Kilomarty is designed around a local mileage log. Here's what that means today and what will be finalized before launch.

You may use the camera to obtain a suggested odometer reading that you confirm. Optional GPS tracking starts from within the app. Accuracy and coverage depend on permissions, the device and real-world conditions.
Third-party components
On Android, photo recognition uses Google ML Kit. The component may transmit technical and diagnostic metrics to Google, even though the photos are not uploaded to Kilomarty servers.
Exports, backup and deletion
PDF/CSV reports and JSON backups are created locally and shared at your request. The current JSON backup does not include the original photos. Retention and deletion mechanisms will be clarified before publication.
This website
The site stores your language and appearance preferences locally in the browser. This release has no active data-collection form or advertising tracker. Your hosting provider may retain technical access logs.
Pre-launch information. The final privacy policy, legal publisher details and applicable terms will be verified before commercial availability.
